Devious Journal Entry

Mon Sep 28, 2009, 6:45 AM
I feel like my latest uploads are a little sloppy. Into Dusk definitely needs some cropping and perhaps a twist clockwise. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time or patience to fiddle with it right now. If I don't upload things now I'll lose the drive to do it. But I will try to edit them eventually.

  • Mood: Peaceful
  • Reading: cross bones (terrible mystery thriller, not rec)
  • Watching: yoootube
  • Eating: dark chocolate with almonds
  • Drinking: water, Port wine, etc.

Spain

Tue Sep 15, 2009, 4:24 AM
I'll be abroad until nearly New Year's, so if I don't respond to comments or am not as active at looking at others' work it's because I'm too busy exploring! I don't think I'll be posting much as most of my pictures will tend to the touristy end of things. If you have something very important to say, send me a message. (Or if you know me in person use facebook or email.)

  • Mood: Content
  • Reading: Brave New World
  • Watching: las noticias
  • Eating: delicious Spanish food! and lots of helado...
  • Drinking: water, wine, etc.

...I guess that's an appropriate end to a very inappropriate soundtrack. I think if you switched some of the songs for places it'd work, but as is... Well, at least it's a decent cross section of my music (aside from the Buffy showing up three times.)

  • Drinking: water

Devious Journal Entry

i don't have much to say, but i felt like my old journal sat up there way too long. I haven't been very active artistically this semester (as you can probably tell,) but i've been really involved with my classes and especially writing.

good news is I'll be taking a photography class this spring. I don't know yet if I'll share my pictures on here or elsewhere. I still have an invite to a website where you scan your negatives and put them up as a gallery (have to use the negative scanner) but if I ever get around to it I promise a link will go up here.

  • Mood: Distracted
  • Watching: Wall-E (tomorrow)
  • Eating: kosher food, apparently

Wow it's been a while since I kept up to date on here. I was out and about quite a bit this summer, still taking photos but haven't really been uploading a lot especially since I had a hard drive problem in May. Now that I've gotten back from a trip I have a few I'd like to share but want to make some minor adjustments first. Unfortunately, I forgot to reinstall my Photoshop software so I'm going to have to retrieve that from home first. Either way, there will be more butterfly pictures up soon, I hope.

  • Mood: Pain
  • Listening to: Jonathan Coulton
  • Reading: Shakespeare and fantasy
  • Eating: throat lozenges
  • Drinking: tea
